These are some peer reviews of my site that I have considered during revisions.  All of the reviews were based on the same six questions.  These questions are shown first and then followed by the author's relationship to the respondent and their responses.

1.  What do you like about the portfolio and why?

2.  What do you dislike about the portfolio and why?

3.  What are some strengths of the portfolio's author that are not highlighted in the portfolio?

4.  What could the author do to make the website more attractive or easier to navigate and understand?

5.  Do you think that this website accurately reflects the personality of the author?

6.  Is the website appropriate for professional use (i.e. having perspective employers look at it)?

 

Respondent: Friend

1.  I like the fact he used pictures of people closest to him.

2.  I felt  that he could have put more information about himself in the website.

3.  The author should have added personal attributes such as hardworking, loyalty, and determination.

4.  He could have added more colors to make the website more attractive.

5.  Yes, the website is very straight forward with ideas just like the author.

6.  I believe it has a very professional look to it.  The website is set up to give insight to the author's life and the industry that he is interested in.

 

Respondent: Coworker

1.  I think it is a good idea that he put in a personal survey to give an idea of what he is like.

2.  The author could have used less pictures and more information.

3.  The author did not highlight in his portfolio that he is very good at multitasking.

4.  The author could have been more creative with his page to make it more appealing.

5.  Yes, it seems to reflect his personality very well.

6.  The website is good for professional use because of the industry analysis that it contains.

 

Respondent: Brother

1.  I like the fact the author included short and long term goals in the site.

2.  He needs to add more color to the website.

3.  The author could have highlighted his competitive nature.

4.  The author could have added more informational links to the site.

5.  Yes, it reflects his personality in his ability to be organized and structured.

6.  The site is appropriate for professional use because it has his resume and other info in it.

 

Respondent: Clemson Student

1.  I like the fact that he spoke so freely about himself.  This was especially evident when he spoke of his two back surgeries.

2.  The webpage could have had more link to related sites.

3.  He could have highlighted more interpersonal skills that would be important in the workforce.

4.  He could have used more pictures of his friends, family, and hobbies.

5.  No, his personality seems to be more outgoing that his webpage indicates.

6.  The website is appropriate for professional use, but it could have used some more industry related pictures to make it even more appropriate.

 

Respondent: Friend

1.  I like the fact that he showed some of his favorite links on the website.

2.  The website could have used more pictures.

3.  The author could have said more about his work experience with the public.

4.  The author could have change font size and colors to make the site more appealing.

5.  Yes, his website seems to fit his personality well.

6.  The website is appropriate for professional use because of the personal information given and the in depth industry analysis that is present.
